This contract-to-permanent position involves providing expert technical assistance for hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring smooth daily operations. The role includes troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently across multiple platforms to maintain optimal functionality.
Job Responsibility:
Address and resolve service desk tickets related to printing, login issues, and screen problems
Configure and manage telephony systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365
Utilize tools like Entra and Intune for monitoring and deployment tasks
Provide support for Windows desktop systems and server environments
Manage virtualization systems such as Hyper-V and perform routine system maintenance
Assign security-related tasks and escalate issues when necessary
Perform backups and system reboots to ensure data integrity
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and Fortinet firewalls to ensure network stability
Maintain and optimize desktop hardware and imaging processes
Assist with SQL Server management as needed to support business operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field
Proficiency with Active Directory and Windows 10
Hands-on experience with desktop deployment, imaging, and hardware troubleshooting
Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst switches and Fortinet firewalls
Strong knowledge of Azure AD Connect and Intune
Ability to handle telephony systems and computer telephony integration
Experience with virtualization tools such as Hyper-V
Solid understanding of backup processes and security protocols
