Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Indianola, Iowa. This is a long-term onsite contract role offering the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide responsive technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to Office 365 and other enterprise applications
Manage Active Directory: user account creation, permission management, and updates
Support basic network infrastructure: server configuration, structured cabling, and Meraki device maintenance
Monitor and manage backup systems to ensure data security and recovery readiness
Address support tickets with a strong focus on customer service and timely resolution
Deliver deskside and remote support for workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex issues and share technical insights
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, escalating more advanced issues when appropriate

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role
Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
Familiarity with basic networking concepts and Meraki device management
Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Able to work 100% onsite in Indianola, IA
