The IT Support Specialist will serve as a hands-on IT generalist, providing comprehensive technical support with a strong emphasis on executive-level service in Los Angeles, California. This role focuses on delivering white-glove support to senior leaders while maintaining day-to-day IT operations across systems, devices, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings broad technical expertise, strong customer service instincts, and the ability to operate independently in high-trust environments.
Job Responsibility
Provide high-touch, white-glove IT support to executives and end users, both onsite and remotely
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices
Support and maintain end-user environments including laptops, desktops, printers, and collaboration tools
Administer and support conference room and video conferencing technologies
Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, including equipment setup and access configuration
Maintain core IT systems including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
Partner with external vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution
Support basic IT security best practices and ensure secure usage of devices and systems
Proactively identify opportunities to improve IT processes, user experience, and system reliability
Provide clear communication, training, and guidance to users on technology tools and best practices
Requirements
5+ years of experience in IT support with a strong generalist skill set
Proven experience supporting executives or senior stakeholders in a high-touch environment
Broad technical knowledge across systems, networking, hardware, software, and cloud platforms
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, and common business applications
Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, connectivity, wireless environments)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
Experience in private, financial services, or high-touch professional environments
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with basic cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection practices
Relevant certifications or technical training in IT support or systems administration
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
