Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for end users across Windows-based environments. This role will support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and administer core technologies including Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, and printers
  • Support user account management in Active Directory (user creation, group membership, password resets)
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Perform onboarding and offboarding tasks (account provisioning, equipment setup, access changes)
  • Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in a ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
  • Assist with software installs, patches, updates, and basic security best practices
  • Provide clear, professional communication to end users with varying technical skill levels

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS environments
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory administration
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL-style workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and documentation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience supporting remote users
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) a plus
