With the continued growth in the industry, Scotlynn is currently hiring an IT Support Specialist at our Corporate Office. This position will also be responsible for managing support for telephone and communication systems as well as software imaging, patch management and networking. The IT Support Specialist position is responsible for front-line IT Support tasks for all Scotlynn offices and locations across North America. We are looking for a candidate with a willingness to learn, an interest in technology and strive for growth in the role. The IT Support Specialist position will provide support through the Information Technology Help Desk for our LOB applications.
Job Responsibility:
Provide analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of end-user issues via the IT Help Desk ticketing system both locally and remotely
Monitor, respond and escalate IT issues to the appropriate staff member
Provide technical support for various communication systems including VoIP phone system, voicemail, and cellular systems
Installation, maintenance and support of corporate workstations and peripherals
Assist providing staff training on Microsoft Office 365, Windows, SharePoint and other corporate I.T. systems
User creation, delegation, and lifecycle management
Planning, ordering, installing, monitoring, and reviewing contracted work by outside agencies
Keep current on changes and innovative technology developments
Manage corporate workstations and accounts through Active Directory, deployment software and other tools
Manage IT asset inventory
Collaborate on documentation of internal IT processes and end-user procedures
Requirements:
Three-year Community College or University program in computer science or technology studies, or equivalent
One to two years of IT experience, or equivalent
A willingness to continue to develop your customer service skills during your interactions with end-users
Be resourceful in problem-solving with your analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Technical skills in computer systems including desktop hardware, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and other business applications
Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Must be aware of safe work practices as they relate to job responsibilities and work environment, and have the basic understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety
