Job Description

Individuals understand their own area and are able to perform all facets of their role. They have experience in most issues that may arise, although require guidance with new assignments or assignments outside normal scope of work. They manage projects with oversight from their supervisor.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides supervision to a small or large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members or a small staff of professional level team members
  • Leads the installation multiple solutions
  • Performs advanced trouble shooting techniques to address complex technical issues
  • Independently assesses and adjusts technical solutions based on the specific client issue
  • Addresses escalated technical issues from less experienced team members
  • Works autonomously in providing on-site technical support to clients
  • Works autonomously in delivering installation services
  • Prepares documentation to record and track project status
  • Provides technical feedback on technical process issues to improve overall service delivery
  • May act as team lead at times and coach team members
  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action
  • May assist with simple parts replacement and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers
  • May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader’s instructions

Requirements

  • Typically requires 5-7 years’ relevant experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Manages escalated client situations with a focus on building positive client relationships
  • Excellent understanding of internal service processes and able to articulate these to clients
  • Strong technical and product knowledge
  • Excellent Japanese communication skills (spoken, reading, and written)
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, reading, and written) is preferred and will be considered an added advantage
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements including lifting/movement of assets
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Significant travel including overnight domestic trips may be required
