We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented IT Service Engineer with extensive experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments. This "jack of all trades" role requires a broad technical skill set, the ability to manage multiple clients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for client environments, including remote and onsite assistance
Manage, administer, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365), and Windows Server environments
Configure and maintain VPNs, remote access tools, and secure client connectivity
Support day-to-day network operations, including network printing and file sharing
Implement and support server and desktop virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Resolve incidents related to common MSP support scenarios: workstation and server deployments, backups, permission changes, and anti-virus solutions
Maintain accurate documentation of client environments, changes, and solutions
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by communicating technical solutions to non-technical users in a clear and friendly manner
Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and follow internal best practices
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience supporting users and technology as part of an MSP or IT services provider
Strong proficiency with Active Directory (user/group administration, GPOs), Office 365 (user/mailbox administration), and Windows Server (installation, patching, incident response)
Solid experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs and remote access technologies
Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and network printers
Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, and standard documentation practices
Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Outstanding customer service orientation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced MSP environment and adapt to evolving client needs
Nice to have:
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, VMware, or similar vendors)
Experience supporting clients across multiple industries and environments
