Ariad is looking for an IT Support Engineer (Medior/Senior) to strengthen the IT operations of one of its clients in the Brussels Region. In this role, you will act as a key technical reference, handling advanced support activities, coordinating with external partners, and contributing to the evolution, stability, and security of the IT landscape. You will be involved both in daily operations and in strategic IT projects, bringing expertise, autonomy, and ownership to the team.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a technical reference for Level 2/3 IT support
Diagnose and resolve complex incidents involving applications, integrations, access, and systems
Manage and optimize user accounts, access rights, and permissions
Troubleshoot and coordinate issues between internal systems and external partners
Actively contribute to IT projects such as application rollouts, tool migrations, and new technology integrations
Improve IT processes, documentation, and operational efficiency
Support cybersecurity initiatives and promote best practices
Provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members when needed
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support, ideally in a Medior or Senior role
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem?solving skills
Autonomous, structured, and able to handle complex issues independently
Excellent communication skills with a service?oriented approach
Fluent in French and English, both oral and written
High level of ownership, accountability, and proactivity
Very good command of Microsoft environments, including Teams, SharePoint, workstation management, access and permission models
Experience with business applications, internal tools, and system integrations
Practical experience with: SQL (PostgreSQL)
Log analysis (e.g., Graylog)
Ticketing & workflow tools such as Zendesk or Monday.com
Microsoft Power BI for dashboards or reporting
Nice to have:
QGIS (bonus)
GO Appeee or similar application ecosystems
Additional knowledge in networks, cybersecurity, or infrastructure is a strong plus
