Job Description

IT Support Engineer with Japanese and English position at NTT DATA in Moriguchi-shi, Japan. Full-time onsite role. Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops/notebooks/printers. Must have excellent Japanese communication skills; English proficiency preferred. Job Responsibility

  • Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers
  • Uses advanced tools/technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations
  • Provides technical feedback on technical process issues to improve overall service delivery
  • May act as team lead at times and coach team members
  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action
  • May assist with simple parts replacement and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers
  • Travel may be required
  • May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions

Requirements

  • Proficient in Windows operating system environment
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems may be required
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment

  • A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required
