Job Responsibility

  • Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and shop-floor systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner
  • Support ERP users (e.g., troubleshooting access issues, basic navigation, reporting support, coordination with ERP teams/vendors)
  • Provision and deprovision user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, ERP systems)
  • Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment across office and production environments
  • Support network connectivity (wired/wireless), including basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, and VLANs
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, asset inventory, and support procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and operations to resolve system issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and IT projects (ERP enhancements, infrastructure updates, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies, including endpoint protection and user access controls
  • Provide on-site support in a manufacturing/plant environment (including shop floor as needed)

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of IT support experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting or working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Ability to support both office users and manufacturing/shop-floor systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
