Our procurement team plays a key role in ensuring innovation, quality, and efficiency across all categories. To strengthen our Indirect Strategic Procurement – IT team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Strategic Buyer to cover a maternity leave – someone eager to take ownership and make a real impact in a dynamic, international environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage strategic sourcing activities across IT Hardware, Software, Services and Consulting categories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal IT stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges
  • Develop and implement proactive purchasing strategies based on spend analysis and category management
  • Lead the full procurement process – from requirements definition to contract signature and supplier negotiation
  • Drive supplier base optimization, identifying and developing preferred partners
  • Deliver cost optimization and process improvements through innovation and Total Cost of Ownership focus
  • Support the digital transformation of procurement together with the Sourcing Excellence team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a strategic purchasing or IT procurement role
  • Proven negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking, with focus on value creation
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, international working style
  • Fluent English required
  • German is a strong plus, Spanish appreciated
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and digital procurement tools
