Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects Knowledge of multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall Experience Description Of Job • The essential functions of this role are as follows: • Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion. • Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources. • Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans. • Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities on the project. • Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals. • Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met. • Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders. • Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience. Skills: • Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation. • Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects desired. • Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation. • Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid. • Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure working on or with large software projects/teams. • Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream. • Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles. • Strong communication and presentation skills required. Description: • Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables. • Lead end-to-end migration of our on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
