Job Description:

The IT Sr Function Group Manager manages multiple teams of senior professionals through other senior managers. Requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, practices, and strategic direction relevant to business functions.

Job Responsibility:

Ensures managed areas are defining and implementing systems that are aligned with business strategy and goals
Involved in a wide range of diverse activities that require strategic vision and analysis
Applies a broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas and their underlying business principles
Understands how own function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business objectives
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations
Impacts the function by exercising control over sizable resources / budget, policy formulation and planning
Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions)
communicates with external parties
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
Effectively supervises the activity of others and creates accountability with those who fail to maintain standards.

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in multiple technology disciplines with extensive experience in business, functional and people management
Budget management
Risk & Control management
