IT Specialist at world famous FMCG company.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide IT onboarding and day-to-day technical support for end users via onsite and remote channels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents, service requests, and technical issues
  • Support meeting rooms, events, and collaboration technologies
  • Maintain communication with users regarding IT services, updates, and best practices
  • Administer user accounts, access rights, and permissions
  • Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle management of IT assets (devices, peripherals, mobile equipment)
  • Oversee local network and office IT infrastructure in line with organizational standards
  • Manage office technology including printers, conferencing systems, and shared devices
  • Support deployment of corporate IT solutions and local technology initiatives
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners for support, procurement, and implementations

Requirements

  • Formal education in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience (approximately 3+ years)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse users
  • Hands-on knowledge of desktop operating systems, productivity software, directory services, email systems, mobile device management, networking, and security fundamentals
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks and ticketing systems (e.g., ITIL-based tools) is advantageous
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable with a hands-on approach
  • Professional proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)
