Job Description:

Working as a core member of our IT infrastructure team, you will support in the alignment of IT Strategy with business goals by advising and implementing technologies or solutions. Using your technical and business knowledge, you will help to ensure the successful delivery of all IT initiatives to strengthen and improve IT services globally. Additionally, you will help prioritise business and IT Projects to ensure our IT Portfolio is delivering and meeting the current demands or risks identified within the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and be accountable for delivery of the Global Infrastructure Plan
  • Own and be accountable for the delivery of the IT Portfolio projects in the prioritisation and categorization of the pipeline
  • Identify areas where IT can better support and improve business operations by proactively engaging with both Business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions enable the required business functionality and capabilities
  • Liaise with Internal and External Stakeholders to gather solution requirements
  • Liaise with IT Security to ensure all our solutions align to our Security Frameworks and standards
  • Identity opportunities for process, technology, and data improvements
  • Produce and report on Key Performance Indicators across all IT Solutions
  • Keep updated on all applicable latest developments within our core infrastructure systems
  • Be a 3rd Line escalation point for the wider team on any Infrastructure or other incidents and problems
  • Be a Technical Lead and advisor on all Merger & Acquisition technology projects
  • Project plan, develop and implement technical solutions for all infrastructure services with a one solution integrated architecture approach
  • Ensure technology risks are identified, communicated and that any mitigation is actioned to ensure solution meets requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (completed or working towards) or other equivalent certification for another cloud solution architecture with one of the leading CSPs
  • Experience with merger and acquisitions and the technology response required or equivalent demonstrable experience of complex infrastructure design and implementation
  • Experienced in building and applying cloud architecture frameworks to infrastructure
  • Expertise in global on-premises or cloud networking and security device management and configuration including, but not limited to, telephony, LAN/WAN (MPLS, SDWAN, etc) firewall management, etc
  • Expert level technical experience in the build, configuration and management of on-premises infrastructure
  • Expert level technical experience in Azure Cloud, through design, implementation, and ongoing management
  • A strong understanding of Data Management principles and Azure storage solutions
  • Strong experience in various software design principles, languages, and architecture models
  • Fluent in English
