Own the reliability of office technology: WiFi, conference rooms, printers, and other site-specific systems—coordinating with vendors and building management as needed
Lead onsite new hire onboarding (device setup, account access readiness, office setup), ensuring a consistent Ramp experience from day one
Run employee lifecycle workflows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) in partnership with People and Security, including secure offboarding and device returns
Manage hardware inventory and device lifecycle from procurement and staging through deployment, repair, recovery, and secure retirement
Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes and employee-facing resources
turn repeat issues into playbooks and self-service guidance
Identify and deliver automation opportunities to reduce repetitive work and improve speed/quality of support (including AI-powered tools where appropriate)
Partner cross-functionally with Security, People, Workplace/Facilities, and vendors to improve the employee experience and execute local IT projects
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on IT support or IT operations experience in a modern, fast-paced environment
Strong troubleshooting across macOS and Windows devices (hardware, OS, peripherals, common productivity tools)
Deep familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Notion, and MDM solutions (Jamf preferred)
Solid understanding of identity and access management concepts (provisioning, least privilege, SSO, SAML)
Strong prioritization, follow-through, and clear communication
A self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate ambiguity independently
Ability to work onsite in New York City or San Francisco, 5 days/week
Nice to have:
Experience in a high-growth or distributed startup environment
Familiarity with basic scripting or automation tooling
