The IT Site Administrative Specialist is responsible for the provision, maintenance, and support of site-based IT/OT systems and their network connections across administrative and production environments, ensuring end-to-end service quality, delivering IT security training and user support for new technologies, and planning and coordinating IT activities related to technological innovation and conversion initiatives.
Job Responsibility
Manage logistics, provisioning, and troubleshooting for SIG standard hardware and software, including desktops, notebooks, telephony, and video equipment
Provide guidance on optimal use of SIG standard hardware and software for communication and collaboration
Ensure compliance with information security standards and deliver user awareness, including limited authorization management in line with defined workflows
Maintain site-wide Data Acquisition Systems and provide support for Power BI dashboards
Ensure adherence to service standards and quality through end-to-end IT service delivery in line with IT service management processes for OT systems
Understand and support production-related IT/OT systems, ensuring stability and performance in collaboration with internal teams, system partners, and global IT support groups
Coordinate and lead infrastructure projects or work packages at site level, and contribute to related application projects
Administer wired and wireless campus networks, including performing basic fault analysis across central network components
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure, or IT/OT systems within a manufacturing or production environment
Hands-on experience with end-user hardware/software support (desktops, laptops, telephony, collaboration tools)
Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices
Ability to support and translate technical concepts for non-technical users
