A leading global technology corporation is seeking a high-caliber Technology Service Owner to join its IT Operations team. This is a mid-senior level role designed for a professional who thrives on accountability and continuous improvement within complex enterprise environments. The Technology Service Owner acts as the single point of accountability for the end-to-end lifecycle and performance of multiple IT-enabled business services. This role bridges the gap between technical infrastructure, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure services are stable, secure, and efficient.
Job Responsibility:
Own the design, transition, and operation of assigned IT services, ensuring they meet all business requirements and availability expectations
Oversee daily operations, leading major incident management and proactive problem management to eliminate recurring issues
Monitor and report on critical KPIs including service availability, MTTR, and SLA compliance
Coordinate with external service providers to ensure contractual delivery commitments and service levels are consistently met
Identify and drive initiatives focused on automation, cost optimization, and operational stability
Align the service roadmap with business priorities and communicate risks or performance updates to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
ITIL 4 Foundation certification highly preferred
4–8 years of experience in IT operations, service management, or application management
Strong understanding of ITIL practices (incident, change, and service level management)
Experience with enterprise-scale services
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and make data-driven decisions
Effective communication skills to bridge technical teams and business audiences
