Our client seeks a passionate SC cleared IT Service Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their IT service management. As our IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for defining and driving the vision and strategy for our service management function. You will ensure that our processes are not only established but continuously evolving, maturing to meet the dynamic needs of the business. Your leadership will ensure our IT services are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Set the vision and strategy for service management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring adequate resources and capacity are in place to meet service demands
Own and mature ITSM processes, implementing best practices and industry standards
Manage contracts effectively, ensuring vendor and service agreements deliver value
Manage budgets for the IT service management function, ensuring cost-effective delivery
Represent the IT service management function at a senior level, collaborating with executive stakeholders
Act as an escalation point for critical issues and complex stakeholder concerns, providing expert guidance and resolution
Requirements:
ITIL qualified with proven experience in IT Service Management
Contract management experience, with a track record of managing vendor relationships and service agreements
Experience in managing budgets within an IT environment
A strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and develop teams
Excellent communicator, capable of engaging with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
Active SC clearance is required for this role
Nice to have:
Adept at managing multiple priorities and driving change initiatives
Certification in ITIL or similar frameworks is preferred
