We are looking for experienced IT Senior Project Manager with expertise in the Insurance sector, with a strong focus on planning, cost management, and risk management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Steer insurance IT / business projects to achieve objectives within the defined schedule, resources, scope and quality
  • Ensure, that the project execution and documentation across all functions in the project is compliant to obligatory rules
  • Manages and plan projects and ensures delivery to quality, time and budget
  • Plan the project based on Insurance-IT and -business demands (incl. risk scoring and detailed effort estimations) and ensure to assign project-roles with the appropriate qualified skill sets
  • Manage the defined project organization in cooperation with client project sponsors and the involved IT- and business units
  • Coordinate and steer creation and execution of deliverables and monitor progress and completion of them
  • Provide regular project status reports to the management team and implement an internal project controlling
  • Support your IT- and business project teams with guidance based on your excellent Insurance Business and IT experiences

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Insurance P&C business transformations (retail and/or commercial lines)
  • Tools: Guidewire (Policy, Claims and/or APD with Jutro) or excellent experiences with other P&C-policy management solutions
  • Fluency in both German and English (mandatory)
  • Location: at least 50% onsite in Rhein-/Ruhr-area or Hannover, rest remote

Nice to have:

Knowledge of broker management, German motor insurance / pricing engines, underwriting, policy management and claims, commercial line business and/or portals and central systems like reinsurance and accounting
