IT Senior Data Engineer

• Supporting Operational Technology portfolio projects in managing and supporting multiple applications databases across operations technology organization covering applications like Maximo, Power Plan, MWM, GIS
• Support applications databases and coordinate all master data activities with other organizational Governance teams
• Maintain appropriate data documentation, including master data management, data quality, report inventory, enterprise data definitions, policies and procedures
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects relevant to the application
• Support Oracle, SQL Server, or other enterprise RDBMS platforms at a technical level
• Configure and validate ODBC connections for application connectivity across environments
• Write clean, efficient, well-structured SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Perform SQL performance tuning, including indexing strategies, query plan analysis, and code optimization
• Assist with schema design, data modeling, and normalization/denormalization decisions
• Enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation
• Create dashboards or reports in Power BI

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field. Computer Science preferred
• Five (5) to eight (8) years related experience
• Any Cloud certification is required
• Azure certification preferred
• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
• Experience on Databricks, including ETL and job creation/scheduling is preferred
• Strong Experience in agile projects and highly proficient in the agile framework
