Job Description

This position supports the installation, service, and upkeep of physical security and related technology systems across a variety of client environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically capable, and comfortable solving technical issues while delivering dependable service and maintaining high work standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Install, service, and maintain security solutions such as alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control devices, locks, gates, barriers, and related IT-connected equipment
  • Work closely with project managers to coordinate field activities, complete assigned work orders, and keep projects moving according to schedule
  • Troubleshoot electronic security components and resolve routine system and software issues to restore proper operation
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings to support accurate system installation and repair
  • Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, ladders, and other equipment safely while performing work in commercial, construction, indoor, and outdoor settings
  • Support system integration by applying basic networking knowledge to connected security devices and infrastructure
  • Build or modify specialized components when needed to strengthen or adapt security installations
  • Inspect completed work, maintain clean job sites, and verify that installed equipment meets quality expectations and client needs
  • Represent the company professionally during service calls by delivering responsive support and helping build strong customer relationships
  • Maintain company vehicles and field equipment in clean, serviceable condition to support safe and efficient daily operations

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the security industry preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds in team-oriented and client-facing situations
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic documentation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft-based platforms and basic networking concepts
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, remain standing for extended periods, and work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or mechanical lifts
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools

  • Deliver security awareness sessions for new hires and support phishing simulation campaigns, including follow-up education for higher-risk user groups
  • Coordinate security-related work across IT, compliance, and internal security partners while keeping operational procedures, runbooks, and incident records current
