The IT Security Specialist will play a key role in promoting cybersecurity awareness and supporting the organization’s security program. This entry-level position focuses on delivering security training, conducting phishing simulations, and managing program metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, coordinate, and execute phishing simulations to assess and improve user awareness
Organize and deliver secure development training exercises for technical teams
Create and distribute security awareness bulletins and enterprise communications
Track cybersecurity program effectiveness through metrics and KPIs
Communicate program performance and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable)
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to create engaging security awareness content and deliver training sessions
Basic understanding of secure development practices and common vulnerabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
Strong analytical skills for tracking and reporting program metrics
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
