Job Description

You will be managing overall IT and security for Bark. You will be the lead for a team consisting of a UK based IT specialist and yourself. You will be responsible for the overall IT administration of the company based on Google Workspace and Okta for identity and access management. You will assist the business with vendor management, the administration of various tools and security assessment of new tools. Security is an important part of the role; you will be expected to drive secure practices in the overall IT setup and have experience in driving secure IT practices. You will be reporting to the Head of Platform Engineering and IT and collaborating closely with engineering functions in driving overall security of the business. The role is based in India and is a hybrid position (2 days onsite).

Requirements

  • Experience in being able to drive overall IT administration and capabilities for the business autonomously
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in vendor management and budget management
  • Good project management and time management skills
  • Previous experience in leading IT teams and good people management skills
  • Experience supporting MacOS and Windows
  • Experience with Crowdstrike or similar endpoint security systems
  • Experience in Google Workspace administration
  • Experience in network administration and security, with hands-on experience managing firewalls, LAN/WAN, and VPNs
  • Experience in driving security practices in IT management

Nice to have

Experience with OKTA, Atlassian, Jumpcloud/Kandji (MDM), Zapier, Google Apps Script, Powershell, Big Query, MySQL and Retool are considered a plus
