The IT Sales Specialist (Japanese Speaking) role at NTT DATA involves sourcing new customers in the IT outsourcing market, particularly Japanese-speaking clients. Job Responsibility

  • Identify and source potential new customers in the IT outsourcing market mainly with Japanese speaking customers
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective selling strategies
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the project team to ensure seamless communication and project execution
  • Lead the bidding process, negotiate contracts, and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met
  • Provide ongoing support to customers during project implementation
  • Manage and oversee contract execution and compliance
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of information technology and industry trends
  • Contribute to building a strong and dynamic sales team by mentoring and supporting team members

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in the IT outsourcing field, with roles such as Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Sales Manager
  • N1/N2 or equivalent ability in Japanese communication (Japanese company experience is preferable)
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service and sales achievements
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Master’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of IT products and services
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional and approachable demeanor
  • Proficiency in computer systems and office software
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales and commission targets
