Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT professional to join a Risk Advisory team. This dynamic role focuses on evaluating IT controls, supporting SOX compliance efforts, assessing SOC readiness, and conducting cybersecurity risk assessments across a variety of industries. You'll collaborate closely with clients and senior team members to help strengthen internal control environments and address IT-related risks.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with SOX compliance, internal audits, and SOC 1 & 2 readiness projects
Conduct comprehensive IT risk assessments and cybersecurity evaluations
Review, test, and improve IT General Controls (ITGCs)
Audit and assess cloud and network systems, including platforms like AWS, Azure, and Active Directory
Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to enhance clients’ control frameworks
Partner with clients and internal teams to identify and resolve control gaps and improve processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in IT audit, SOX, SOC, or cybersecurity assessments
Strong understanding of ITGCs, cloud environments, and major operating systems
Experience with cloud-based environments - AWS, Azure, as well as Active Directory
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or CIA are preferred
Proficient in Excel and committed to delivering exceptional client service
Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 15%)
