The IT Quality Assurance role has ended up being 99% focused on Quality Assurance (QA) rather than audits. It is responsible for ensuring that IT systems and processes are consistently monitored and improved in alignment with MAG’s standards and industry regulations. Responsibilities include performing detailed tests to identify and resolve system bugs, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and providing expert and technical audits. An ability to be an expert in problem-solving, critical thinking and an understanding of complex system dependencies are essential in enabling the IT Manager to show where My Amazon Guy processes are broken and how those processes are affecting key data points. An individual with a strong passion to solve problems and improve data integrity will excel in this position.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure proper prioritization of task is observed and assignments are properly actioned, and handled per mag standards
Proactively contribute in providing strategies for work quality advancements
Collaborate with IT Devs to ensure testing and observation of solutions adds value to end users
Ensure all fields in tasks have met the standard requirement of the team
Act as the last defensive line that ensures IT Solutions meets the end users’ requests
Coordinate and generate independent test cases for each newly developed application/system
Ensure that all work projects are compliant with the company’s standards
Manage testing projects during each phase. All projects/tasks are to be reviewed for quality assurance
Communicate and recommend improvements to the functionality, design, and usability of new systems/applications
Requirements:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in IT quality assurance and audit roles
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices
Hands-on experience with No-Code/Low-Code platforms, such as Zapier, Google Workspace, JotForms, HubSpot, PandaDoc, and AirTable
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and API integration
Experience with Asana or similar project management tools for task and project tracking
Familiarity with software testing techniques, tools, and defect-tracking systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
