Job Description:

The IT Project Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
Interface with senior project staff and client senior management teams
Recommend and oversee process improvements
Provide expertise in IT project leadership
Influence strategic functional decisions through advice and counsel
Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Provide sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking
Persuade and influence others through comprehensive communication
Assess risk when making business decisions

Requirements:

6-10 years experience in a related technology role
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Subject matter expert in overall field
Advanced understanding of IT project leadership principles
Comprehensive understanding of how different areas integrate to achieve business objectives
Sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking
Developed communication and diplomacy skills
Ability to assess risk appropriately

Nice to have:

Potentially Masters degree
