Job Description:

The Control Room Management role is part of the Testing Deployment & Environment Management horizontal service of offerings for the Strategic Ledger Transformation program. This is a critical role in coordinating day-to-day execution of technology tasks in support of various program activities such as testing, release management, environment management, production cutovers etc. The Control Room service operates on a ‘follow the sun’ model and is currently 24x5 and is expected to be 24x7 in future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading day-to-day execution of technology WBS tasks required for various program activities
  • Ensuring Control Room resources are on the same page while managing multiple activities in different environments
  • Working closely with counterparts in Europe and in India to enable seamless handoff of task-level activities and status
  • Leading daily checkpoint calls to provide operational level status to program stakeholders
  • Communicating status emails and notifications to stakeholders regarding planned activities and unplanned events
  • Facilitating creation of JIRA tickets and Oracle Service Requests to track defects
  • Facilitating triage meetings for problem resolution as required
  • Adhering to enterprise standards and policies on release and change management
  • Understanding and implementing releases during the agreed-upon ‘green-zones’ or maintenance windows
  • Maintaining artifacts required for various tollgates required by program governance

Requirements:

  • 15 + years experience in technology coordination and/or project management role
  • Expertise in managing large-scale technology releases and complex environment landscape
  • Experience with managing releases for Cloud transformation programs on platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft or Amazon
  • Expertise in Software Lifecycle Management, Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated background in technology development and/or testing
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, TOSCA, Confluence, Zephyr and MS Project
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in working with senior leaders
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
  • Experience with project management methodologies
