Job Description:

The IT Project Sr Tech Lead is a strategic professional responsible for driving decision-making, managing risks and dependencies, delivering IT projects, and influencing technical strategies. They are highly accountable for business results, resource allocation, and guiding technical decisions.

Job Responsibility:

Become a resident expert in the Technology Data Consent Order plan to facilitate decision-making across key stakeholders and partners
Identifies, prioritizes and proactively manages risks, issues and dependencies to drive effective and timely remediation across relevant projects
Manage scope and enforce proper change control to prioritize Technology delivery aligned to critical success metrics
Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation and planning
Has significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards
Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership
Possesses an understanding of client core business functions
Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership
Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions)
may communicate with external parties
Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives
Responsible for resource management and allocation of work
acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

10+ years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
