Job Description:

The IT Project Sr Tech Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed
Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation and planning
Provides expertise in projects managed
Demonstrates advanced understanding of IT project leadership principles
Directly impacts business through technical direction and strategic decisions
Influences and negotiates with senior leaders
Responsible for resource management and allocation of work
Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking
Assess risk when business decisions are made
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Requirements:

10+ years experience in a related technology role
Subject matter expert in overall field
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Potentially Master's degree
Excellent communication skills
Developed communication and diplomacy skills
Ability to guide, influence and convince others
Comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology
Ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking
