IT Project Senior Manager

• Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects
• Manages project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues
• Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates
• Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership
• Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on personnel actions
• Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information
• Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

• 6-10 years experience in a related technology role with commensurate people management experience
• Extensive experience in Financial Services / Banking area
• Experience in Back office Equity Settlement is essential
• Exposure to Custody would be a definite advantage
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
• In-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function
• Developed communication and diplomacy skills
• Basic commercial awareness
