Onnec Ireland is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all services supplied to all allocated Network Solutions projects, being the first point of contact for our key IT clients. The IT Project Manager will work closely with the clients to deliver total customer satisfaction from design development through to production, delivery and handover. The IT PM will also be responsible for ensuring the continued improvement and enhancement of the delivery experience to the client whilst maximising efficiency and profitability.
Job Responsibility:
To act as primary interface between ONNEC and the clients in respect of being the first point of contact for design, operational/delivery and financial matters
Overall responsibility for the projects P&L
Apply Prince2 and/or Agile delivery principles during the project's lifecycle
Production and issue of accurate monthly internal reports to the Operations Manager
Responsibility for the production of specific back up documents for each project
To compile and produce monthly client reports for review by the Operations Manager and commercial lead
To plan and co-ordinate design and production activities
To plan and co-ordinate material procurement and supply chain liaison in line with project plans
To plan and co-ordinate resourcing requirements in line with project plans
To plan and co-ordinate 3rd party suppliers in line with project plans
To plan and co-ordinate project handover documentation in line with project plans
Develop and deliver project handover documentation
Ensuring adherence by the Design and Production teams to published Contractual and Commercial responsibilities
Transference of all ONNEC and Manufacturers Warranties to the Contracts team upon project completion
Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Clients Health & Safety Policies on assigned projects
Overall responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of both ONNEC Group and the Client’s Quality Assurance Policies on assigned projects
Overall responsibility for all deliverables (including documentation) conforming to both ONNEC Group and the Client’s published Quality Management System
Overall accountability for all actions of the ONNEC project teams
Provide support and educate Networking Solutions team members with clear understanding where compliance requirements meet technical and its challenges
Act as an escalation point for internal resources and client management teams
Record and transfer lessons learned from projects back to the business through the appropriate means
Provide leadership and instil confidence into the project stakeholders
Requirements:
Prince2 Practitioner qualified preferred
An excellent understanding of IP networks
Experience of networked IP systems and integration of third-part cloud technologies
Ability to manage the validation, witness testing and governance of the proposed/delivered networking solutions
Understanding the importance of cybersecurity measures to prevent lP systems from being exposed
Good knowledge and use of MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and MS Project
5 years minimum experience in leading and delivering technical projects to clients
Ability to produce and deliver client presentations in a clear, concise and confident manner
Ability to absorb and manage new services and applications
Experience and temperament to deal with multiple site design and production activities
Proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel
Experience of delivering services against formal sub-contracts
