Job Description:

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced IT Program Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering support for systems monitoring and applications management services. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop provide top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government.

Job Responsibility:

  • Join a technology-based program supporting a key functional program area providing full lifecycle engineering support for systems monitoring and applications management services
  • Provide systems alerts, including monitoring for enterprise system performance and availability
  • Provide guidance and engineering for upgrades, systems modifications, and updates
  • Provide operational support for applications deployed across the sponsor's enterprise, including release management configuration management and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 11 years' experience
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree
  • Professional certification in Project Management Professional (PMI PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or Leadership Coaching
  • Proven experience as a Lean Agile and leadership coach in an IT organization with Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, Software Development, Security, and Close Support
  • Experience coaching and facilitating team building and leadership offsite events
  • Experience as an Enterprise Scrum Master using Lean Agile, setting up Jira projects, and facilitating division-level sprint planning
  • Ability to monitor multiple projects, identify risks, and communicate effectively to customers, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Outstanding communication skills, articulating complex issues to various audiences
  • Experience leading and managing enterprise-level projects using Project Management Framework (PMF) or Lean Agile
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities, and identify programmatic challenges and mitigation strategies
  • Experience leading infrastructure engineering projects using Agile methodology and recommending changes for project success
  • Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance
  • U.S. Person required
  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Agile, ITIL or other related Certifications
  • Quality processes including ISO, Six Sigma, CMMi
  • Knowledge in the entire development system life cycle
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies
  • Creating and managing a shared pool of internal and subcontract resources
