This HVAC Manufacturing & Wholesale leader in Montreal is looking for an IT Project Manager Merger and Acquisitions

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end IT integration strategy for six newly acquired entities, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with the parent company's digital standards
  • Conduct a comprehensive audit of all active software licenses and hardware assets across the acquired businesses to identify redundancies and compliance gaps
  • Define and manage the master timeline for the rollout of the ERP system, focusing specifically on the synchronization of Human Resources and Finance modules
  • Architect and supervise the creation of communication bridges/interfaces between various legacy software and the central ERP to ensure data integrity and flow
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to consolidate service contracts and optimize software spend across the newly unified organization
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive leadership in France and local business unit managers, facilitating change management and user adoption
  • Perform continuous risk assessments to prevent operational downtime during the integration phases and ensure 24/7 business continuity for the wholesaler network

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Proven track record in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Post-Merger Integration (PMI)
  • Extensive experience with ERP rollouts, particularly involving HR and Finance modules
  • Strong technical background in IT Infrastructure, Software Asset Management (SAM), and systems integration
  • Valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and French (mandatory for international coordination)
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing, Wholesale, or HVAC industry is a significant asset
