Job Description

For our client, we are looking for an experienced IT project manager with experience in mainframe transformation projects as well as knowledge of the COBOL/z/OS environment. The main task is to lead a transformation project to migrate a large mainframe application from CA Gen to native COBOL and to introduce GitLab as a new code repository.

Job Responsibility

  • Management and coordination of all workstreams and deliverables
  • Creation of the project management plan and definition of the project scope
  • Stakeholder management and coordination of all project participants
  • Project planning, progress control and status reporting
  • Support for test, go-live and operational readiness topics

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in IT project management of transformation projects
  • Experience in the COBOL/mainframe environment
  • Knowledge of z/OS
