Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Product Lead specialising in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) within the Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain. This role sits within the Vodafone Product team and focuses on owning and evolving SAP Ariba CLM solutions end to end. The role combines deep functional expertise with technical understanding, enabling effective collaboration with business stakeholders, system integrators, architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver a robust and future-ready product roadmap.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and drive the end-to-end demand-to-delivery lifecycle, from requirements definition through to business-as-usual support
  • Act as a subject matter expert for SAP Ariba CLM, providing guidance on both process and technical topics
  • Validate functional and technical designs delivered by system integrators to ensure alignment with business needs and architectural standards
  • Collaborate with process owners, global process leads, shared service organisations, and cross-functional teams to harmonise requirements through workshops, design, testing, and deployment activities
  • Review and analyse Ariba quarterly releases to assess impact, prevent regression, and advise the business on new functionalities
  • Maintain strong executive stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective design and delivery of the Ariba and CLM product roadmap
  • Support testing activities including test strategy, material preparation, execution, and defect management
  • Contribute to training materials, data cleansing, data mapping, and data migration activities within the SCM and CLM domain
  • Engage with operations and business stakeholders to discuss incidents, major issues, and drive optimal, sustainable solutions

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Contract Management, particularly SAP Ariba CLM and Sourcing
  • Well-versed in wider SCM and SAP ecosystems, including S/4HANA, MDG, and contract-related integrations with Ariba
  • Equipped with a balanced functional and technical background across end-to-end purchasing processes (direct and indirect) and vendor contract management
  • Experienced in a business-facing role, such as product ownership, product leadership, or consulting
  • Brings management consulting exposure with the ability to learn quickly, analyse complex topics, and make informed decisions
  • A confident and inclusive communicator, comfortable engaging with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable in SAP and non-SAP integrations, with an appreciation of enterprise architecture principles
