Covering an internal secondment for a minimum of 6 months, with genuine potential to extend for a significant period, this role sits within an established procurement function. You will act as the primary procurement partner to senior technology stakeholders, leading commercial engagements and driving sourcing strategies across a complex portfolio of technology suppliers and platforms at a time when the business is undergoing significant technology transformation.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute commercial sourcing strategies across technology categories and supplier portfolios
Lead commercial negotiations and contract engagements for key technology suppliers
Build strong relationships with functional leaders to understand their objectives and translate these into procurement outcomes
Drive supplier performance activity and manage risk across the category
Identify and deliver cost, value, and efficiency improvements
Requirements:
Solid experience in a senior procurement or supplier-focused commercial roles within a large or corporate organisation
Strong technology procurement experience is essential
Proven ability to lead commercial engagements and negotiate complex supplier contracts
Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable influencing and advising at senior levels independently
Good working knowledge of supplier risk management and contractual frameworks
Able to manage multiple priorities and hit the ground running with minimal oversight
