We are seeking a IT/OT Cyber Security Engineer to support digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for site infrastructure operations, lifecycle management, and cyber security activities, with a strong focus on IT/OT integration. The position will support post-implementation activities of digital transformation projects and ensure reliable, secure, and compliant infrastructure operations at the site. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, automation, maintenance teams, and global digital functions, and may support multiple sites when required.
Job Responsibility
Collaborate with business and digital teams to understand infrastructure requirements and support the design and implementation of appropriate technical solutions
Work closely with automation teams and global digital/cybersecurity teams to enable IT/OT convergence, ensuring proper integration, infrastructure reliability, and security
Coordinate and supervise deployment of site infrastructure, including on-premise systems, shared platforms, and application-related technical activities, ensuring proper documentation
Manage and support site infrastructure operations, including server rooms, technical rooms, LAN/Wi-Fi networks, storage systems, and backup/restore processes
Oversee infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Act as the local point of contact for global teams during incident escalation and operational support requests
Proactively identify risks, drive operational excellence, and propose improvements to enhance system performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal standards
support audits and inspections related to infrastructure and systems
Continuously improve IT/OT integration while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards and best practices
Implement and maintain cybersecurity processes, including risk management, patch management, vulnerability management, firewall and access control reviews
Monitor cybersecurity operations and respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures
Maintain cybersecurity compliance for infrastructure, including network segmentation, firewall rules, and remediation actions following risk assessments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project execution and continuous digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects and operations
Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments is preferred
Experience with computerized systems validation, infrastructure validation, laboratory systems, SCADA, or IoT/IIoT solutions is an advantage
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including Network (LAN, Wi-Fi, cabling), Servers and virtualization (e.g., Windows Server, VM environments), Telephony systems (VoIP), Backup and recovery solutions
Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices (firewalls, bastion hosts, antivirus, vulnerability management)
Understanding of IT/OT integration and industrial systems
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile is a plus)
