Job Description

We are currently looking for an IT Operator to strengthen our production and operational coverage in Luxembourg. You will ensure continuous monitoring and operational stability during night hours, working on-site from 20:00 to 04:00, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure proactive monitoring of systems using tools such as SCOM and/or Nagios
  • React quickly and efficiently to alerts and incidents
  • Manage incidents through: Ticket creation and follow-up in ServiceNow, Initial troubleshooting, Application of defined procedures, Escalation when necessary
  • Perform operator actions on schedulers (IzWS / TWS / OPC)
  • Execute operator-level interventions (JCL / MVS-ISPF) when required
  • Monitor KPIs and complete operational checklists within defined deadlines
  • Work under the supervision of a Team Lead
  • Collaborate closely with internal operational teams to ensure service continuity

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT Production / Operations (Run) environment
  • Good knowledge of ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
  • Monitoring experience with SCOM and/or Nagios
  • Strong rigor, vigilance, and sense of responsibility
  • Strict adherence to operational procedures
  • Clear communication skills, especially during incident management
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability and stability to work night shifts on a long-term basis

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of MVS-ISPF
  • Experience with IzWS / TWS / OPC schedulers
  • Operator-level knowledge of JCL
