Job Description

As part of the Command Center team, you will be responsible for monitoring the execution of the batch plan and responding to system alerts. Your role will involve identifying and processing errors based on predefined procedures, ensuring the stability and continuity of operations. You will also interact with various monitoring tools and ticketing systems to maintain service quality and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor batch job execution and handle errors according to documented procedures
  • Respond to alerts generated by their monitoring tools
  • Perform basic troubleshooting using Unix/Linux commands (log reading, directory navigation, etc.)
  • Escalate incidents appropriately and ensure timely resolution
  • Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux (log analysis, command-line navigation)
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira and/or ServiceNow
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Knowledge of shell scripting for automation and task optimization
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) is required
  • French is a plus

Nice to have

  • Experience with TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) or other job scheduling tools
  • Previous experience in a Command Center or IT Operations environment
