This leader in Industrial Product Manufacturing located in Ville Saint-Laurent is looking for a IT Network Infrastructure Analyst
Job Responsibility:
Implement, and manage secure, scalable network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, wireless solutions, and load balancers
Install and wire IT and network equipment as part of infrastructure deployment and maintenance
Configure and support networking protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE
Administer Windows Server environments (physical and virtualized using VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure VMs)
Manage core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services
Support hybrid identity environments involving Azure AD and on-premises AD
Deploy and maintain Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks (VNETs), Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN Gateways, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute
Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams on hybrid connectivity, cloud migration, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives
Coordinate incident response and system recovery efforts during outages or security events
Ensure infrastructure compliance with cybersecurity policies and apply firmware, patches, and security updates consistently
Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., FortiAnalyzer, PRTG, Azure Monitor) to ensure visibility into systems and networks
Continuously enhance monitoring systems to improve responsiveness and issue detection
Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline recurring infrastructure tasks
Support and back up the Senior Network Administrator in resolving requests and major incidents and collaborate on delivering new projects
Serve as an escalation point for internal teams (System Administration, Cybersecurity, and Applications)
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical upskilling
Coordinate with third-party vendors for advanced troubleshooting, license renewals, contract oversight, hardware procurement, and equipment disposal
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation including network diagrams, configuration baselines, SOPs, and internal knowledge articles
Support infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions of sites or services
Contribute to the development and testing of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) plans
Demonstrate a proactive approach to infrastructure management, service reliability, and continuous improvement
Demonstrate flexibility to support critical incidents or project-related tasks that may occasionally require availability outside regular business hours
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in network and systems administration roles
Expertise in Fortinet and Cisco platforms
Proven hands-on experience with Azure networking technologies and hybrid cloud connectivity
Comprehensive understanding of core networking and routing protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, BGP)
Solid experience in Microsoft infrastructure administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Fluency in English (French is considered an asset)
Occasional travel and a valid driver’s license are required
Nice to have:
CCNA or Network+ certification is a plus
Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and industrial networking environments
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
Working knowledge of Linux systems and container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
