Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Manufacturing Support specialist to join our team in Pittsburg, Kansas. This long-term contract position is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in Tier 1 technical support and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support, addressing basic hardware, software, and system issues
  • Assist with password resets, account setups, and other Active Directory-related tasks
  • Monitor and resolve service desk tickets promptly and efficiently
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows 10 and other standard operating systems
  • Install and configure hardware and software as needed to support end-users
  • Maintain detailed records of support activities using a ticketing system
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
  • Deliver support tailored to a manufacturing environment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Tier 1 help desk or desktop support role
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic account management tasks
  • Experience with ticketing systems and managing service desk tickets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform basic troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of hardware and software installation processes
  • Prior exposure to technical support in a manufacturing setting is a plus
