We’re looking for an experienced and proactive IT Manager to own and evolve our company’s IT ecosystem as we scale. You’ll design and implement systems that make it easy, and secure, for our teammates to onboard and work efficiently from anywhere. From managing devices and access to supporting SOC 2 compliance and workspace AV setup, you’ll be the go-to person for all things IT. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll move us from ad hoc solutions to a scalable, secure, and well-documented IT environment that supports growth, efficiency, and accelerates every employee.
Job Responsibility:
Streamline IT Systems: Evaluate and implement centralized identity and access management tools
Password & Access Management: Lead the rollout of a password manager and define policies
Device Lifecycle Management: Oversee company hardware
IT Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues
Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the technical side of onboarding and offboarding
Office & Workspace IT: Support IT, WiFi, and AV setup for any physical offices
Network Oversight: Maintain secure and stable network infrastructure
Security & Compliance: Partner with Security and Operations teams to support SOC 2 readiness
Data Protection: Implement data backup, recovery, and retention processes
Vendor & License Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors
Budgeting & Planning: Track IT spend, forecast future needs
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain IT documentation
Scalability & Automation: Build systems and workflows that grow with the company
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with People Ops, Security, and Engineering
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in IT administration, systems management, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-growing or remote-first company
Deep knowledge of SaaS tools, identity management systems, and MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, Intune)
Hands-on experience managing Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other core collaboration platforms
Familiarity with SOC 2 and similar compliance frameworks
Experience managing vendors, contracts, and IT budgets
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Organized, proactive, and able to balance immediate support needs with long-term scalability
