Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations, support internal teams, and oversee infrastructure, security, and support functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing people, improving processes, and ensuring reliable IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a solid technical background across systems, networking, and cloud environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the IT department including help desk, system administrators, and network staff
  • Oversee infrastructure operations including servers, storage, network, and cloud systems
  • Define IT strategy, roadmap, and improvement initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, hardware procurement, and licensing
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, procedures, and security controls
  • Oversee major IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of critical systems through proactive maintenance
  • Conduct performance reviews, mentoring, and skill development for IT staff
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally with department leaders to understand and support technology needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations with 1–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (servers, networking, cloud, virtualization)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, and virtualization platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, security best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a focus on team development
  • Experience managing IT vendors, contracts, and procurement
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications are a plus
