The Information Technology Manager is accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery of all IT systems and solutions at 1440 Foods, owning the full lifecycle from requirements through deployment, ongoing operations, and continuous improvement across infrastructure, ERP, cybersecurity, and enterprise integrations. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role combines deep technical execution with cross-functional coordination. The IT Manager ensures that all technology platforms are stable, performant, and aligned to business needs, working closely with internal teams, managed service providers, and technology vendors to drive quality outcomes. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring both architectural breadth and operational depth, with accountability for system availability, solution quality, and IT service performance across the organization.
Job Responsibility
Own the complete IT delivery lifecycle, requirements, design, development, testing (unit, SIT, regression), deployment, hypercare, and steady-state support, across all systems and platforms
Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including internal IT staff and managed service providers
enforce quality gates, SLAs, and release standards
Maintain a prioritized, transparent project and change request backlog
ensure delivery status, risks, and blockers are communicated proactively to stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, reducing rework, shortening cycle times, and improving first-time-right rates across all IT workstreams
Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning ERP (NetSuite), WMS, EDI, Planning (Atlas/John Galt), Power BI, and enterprise integrations
Oversee IT infrastructure across corporate, data center, and plant environments, ensuring availability, performance, capacity, and disaster recovery readiness
Maintain network architecture and OT/IT segmentation at manufacturing sites in alignment with Purdue Model best practices and security standards
Manage backup and business continuity plans across all critical systems
lead incident response for infrastructure-related outages and P1/P2 events
Drive proactive monitoring and alerting practices to minimize unplanned downtime
Own the organization’s cybersecurity posture end-to-end, managing tools across detection, prevention, and response functions
Lead vulnerability management programs, including scanning, remediation prioritization, and closure tracking across endpoints, networks, and applications
Ensure OT/IT security controls at manufacturing sites are maintained and regularly reviewed
Respond to and manage security incidents
conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions
Serve as the primary technical owner for NetSuite ERP, governing configuration, customizations, integrations, role/permission management, and release quality
Manage the ERP change pipeline in partnership with external partners and internal stakeholders
track and prioritize change requests, defects, and enhancements
Oversee all enterprise integration points (EDI, SFTP, middleware) across supply chain, planning, and commercial partners
Lead requirements gathering and solution design with business users
produce functional specifications, test plans, and user acceptance documentation
Drive adoption of AI and automation capabilities across IT and business operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required
advanced degree preferred
7+ years of progressive IT experience with demonstrated accountability for technology delivery, operations, and system quality
Background in consumer goods, food & beverage, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred
SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics considered)
Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture (EDI, APIs, middleware platforms)
Cloud and infrastructure experience, including Azure, hybrid networking, and SaaS/PaaS environments
Working knowledge of DevOps and SDLC practices (CI/CD, version control, release management, testing frameworks)
Data and analytics literacy, including Power BI, data warehousing concepts, and SQL/SuiteQL
Cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SIEM, and firewall administration
Familiarity with AI/automation platforms, including Microsoft Copilot and emerging LLM-based tools
