A leading international group is looking for a dynamic specialist to lead IT operations and strategy for its legal entities in Greece. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Athens, offering the opportunity to manage a robust technical ecosystem across multiple locations.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the implementation of Group IT projects across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with global digital strategies
Act as the primary liaison between local business needs and the regional IT Director to optimize system performance
Coordinate and enhance IT security frameworks, ensuring all activities comply with strict Group policies and international standards
Manage high-level user support and problem escalation, verifying that service desk performance meets business expectations
Drive cost-optimization initiatives and promote the rationalization of IT services and infrastructure
Lead technical documentation, asset management, and internal communications regarding system updates or organizational changes
Supervise IT infrastructure health, including LAN, servers, cloud hosting, and workplace hardware standards across sites
Requirements:
Academic Background: An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Professional Expertise: At least five (5) years of proven expertise in the IT fields mentioned above
Security Proficiency: Certified knowledge of security methodologies and standards, combined with at least two (2) years of relevant experience
Technical Knowledge: Strong background in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Soft Skills: Ability to coordinate projects, conduct risk assessments, and manage stakeholder communications effectively
