We are looking for a skilled IT Manager to oversee our Cloud Platform Engineering and Operations team in Stillwater, Minnesota. This leadership role involves guiding the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and platform services to support enterprise applications and development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices while ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, architects, and DevSecOps specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Develop and implement strategies for secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform solutions aligned with organizational goals
Oversee the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to enhance efficiency
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and costs, ensuring operational excellence
Establish best practices for security, observability, incident response, and change management
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT functions to align platform capabilities with business needs
Manage the budget for cloud platforms, including cost optimization initiatives
Evaluate and maintain relationships with cloud service providers and third-party vendors
Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Drive the implementation of modern DevSecOps practices, promoting automation and platform engineering
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
a Master’s degree is preferred
At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams within an enterprise IT environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud platform and related technologies
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD systems, and DevSecOps methodologies
Strong knowledge of databases, servers, storage, networking, security, and cloud architecture
Ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional projects effectively
Certifications in Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Architect are highly desirable
