Job Description

This is a hands-on IT Manager / IT Generalist role for a quickly growing Salt Lake City based company. The role involves real ownership of the IT function in a small-team environment, ideal for someone who has worked as the sole IT person or on a very small IT team.

Job Responsibility

  • Owning the IT function end to end in a small-team environment
  • Partnering with leadership to align IT strategy with business needs
  • Setting up and supporting hardware, software, and user access
  • Leading or supporting ERP configuration, integration, and optimization
  • Managing vendors and MSP relationships
  • Overseeing infrastructure, security, and cloud environments
  • Supporting BI reporting, dashboards, and data integrity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience
  • Experience as a solo IT Manager or IT Generalist on a small team
  • Comfortable being very hands-on while also thinking strategically
  • Strong SQL and database experience
  • ERP or complex business system implementation experience
  • Solid cloud experience (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
