Job Description:

This is a highly visible IT Lead role responsible for owning and supporting Workday Financials, including Accounting Center, Projects, Procurement, and Prism. You will partner closely with Finance and IT teams during implementation and ongoing optimization, serving as the platform owner for Workday Financial operations. The role focuses on system ownership, configuration, process optimization, reporting, data integrity, and long-term platform strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Owning and supporting Workday Financials, including Accounting Center, Projects, Procurement, and Prism
  • Partnering closely with Finance and IT teams during implementation and ongoing optimization
  • Serving as the platform owner for Workday Financial operations
  • System ownership, configuration, process optimization, reporting, data integrity, and long-term platform strategy

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting Workday core financials, Accounting Center, Projects, Procurement, and/or Prism
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP/AR, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, integrations, business processes, reporting, and security
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, AP/AR, HR, and IT
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Nice to have:

Workday certifications in Financials or Projects are a plus
